De volgende gemeenteraadsverkiezingen worden gehouden in mei 2019.
Bij de gemeenteraadsverkiezingen van 2015 in Hondón de las Nieves hebben slechts 53 van de 1100 "empadronados" gestemd!
Niet alleen dat, maar slechts 300 van de 1100 stonden op de lijst om te stemmen!
Het is heel noodzakelijk dat buitenlanders de juiste informatie krijgen en niet handelen op geruchten of verkeerde informatie !! Deze informatie werd rechtstreeks verkregen van het stadhuis.
1) Als je wilt stemmen en je hebt een PADRON ("empadronado"), ga dan naar het gemeentehuis en laat je registreren om te stemmen.
2) Ze kunnen je vragen of je Resident bent (dit betekent "woon je in Hondon de las Nieves"). Zeg ja als je de PADRON hebt. U hoeft de PADRON niet mee te nemen, zij zullen controleren of u op de lijst staat.
3) U moet een PADRON hebben anders kunt u niet geregistreerd worden om te stemmen.

The
municipal elections will be held in May 2019.
In the municipal elections for Hondon de
las Nieves only 53 of 1100 “empadronados” voted in 2015!
Not only that but only 300 of the 1100 were
on the list to vote!
It
is very necessary that foreigners get the right information and don’t act on
rumours or misinformation!! This information was obtained directly from the Town Hall.
1) If you want to vote and you have a PADRON (“empadronado)” then all you need is to go to
the Town Hall and say you want to go on the register to vote.
2) They may ask you if you are Resident (this means “are you resident
in Hondon de las Nieves”) Say yes if you have the PADRON.
You don’t have to take the PADRON with you, they will check to see if you are
on the list.
3) You need have a PADRON
otherwise you can’t be registered to vote.
There
is a fundamental misunderstanding amongst some foreigners regarding the
“PADRON”.
The “PADRON” is not linked to being liable
for Spanish taxes. The Costa Blanca News had an article on registering to vote
and highlighted this point.
They wrote “The PADRON is not a financial commitment nor is it linked to tax
registration- a common misunderstanding among foreign residents and one
believed to stop people registering on the PADRON”. The number of people
that a municipality has on the PADRON is linked to the funds that become
available to the municipality, so the more people “Empadronados” the more funds
the municipality can obtain for services to the public. You need to have your
PADRON for certain financial transactions.
To
get the PADRON you need.
1) Your NIE from The National Police in Elche (Need to have lived for 6
continuous months in Spain) There is also a temporary NIE for 3 months. (useful
for newcomers). Your passport is valid also to get the PADRON but you will
still need to get your NIE afterwards otherwise you will lose your PADRON.
2) Present a receipt for the “IBI” (from “SUMA”). IBI is your property
tax
THE “PADRON” is valid for 5 years. In
practice this requirement is not always necessary, but if the Town Hall loses
contact with you they may remove you from the list. At the moment there are
1100 foreigners empadronados in Hondon de las Nieves, and another 400 with whom
contact has been lost (Left the village, died etc) .
Check
with the Town Hall if in any doubt regarding the PADRON.

Elecciones municipales mayo de 2019
Solo 53
extranjeros de los 1.100 empadronados votaron en las elecciones municipales de
2015 en Hondón de las Nieves,
únicamente
300 de los 1100 empadronados estaban registrados para votar.
Es imprescindible que los extranjeros reciban la
información correcta y que
no actúen basado en rumores ó
información falsa. Esta
información ha sido facilitado por el ayuntamiento.
1)
Si quiere votar y tiene el Padrón (empadronado) pues simplemente tiene que ir al ayuntamiento
y decir que quiere votar.
2)
Posiblemente le preguntarán si es Residente (quiere decir ¿Es Residente
en Hondón de las
Nieves?) Conteste “Sí tengo el Padrón”. No tiene que llevar el Padrón consigo, ellos consultarán si usted está en la
lista de empadronados.
3)
Tiene que tener el Padrón, si no, no puede votar.
Hay un malentendido entre unos extranjeros acerca del
Padron. El Padrón no está
vinculado a la obligación de
pagar impuestos. El periódico Costa Blanca News ha publicado un artículo sobre este
punto.
Escribieron “El
Padrón no es
un compromiso financiero tampoco está ligado
a un registro para pagar impuestos. Eso es un malentendido entre los
extranjeros y ésto
detiene a los extranjeros a registrarse en el Padrón”. El número de personas que el ayuntamiento tiene de
empadronados está directamente
ligado a los fundos que el ayuntamiento puede solicitar. Es decir, más empadronados, más fundos estarán disponibles
al ayuntamiento para servicios publicos.
Para obtener el
Padrón se
necesita
1) El NIE de la Policía Nacional en
Elche (Tiene que haber vivido 6 meses continuos
en España) Se puede obtener un NIE temporal de 3meses. Su
pasaporte también es aceptable para conseguir
el Padrón. En este caso
hay que obtener el NIE después, de lo
contrario perderá el Padrón.
2) Presentar un recibo para
el “IBI” (de “SUMA”). El “IBI” es el impuesto sobre su propiedad.
El Padrón es válido durante
5 años. No siempre el ayuntamiento requiere que se renueve. Si el ayuntamiento
pierde contacto con usted, ellos podrían cancelar su Padrón. Actualmente hay 1.100
extranjeros empadronados y otros 400 con quien el ayuntamiento ha perdido
contacto (se han marchado o han muerto). En caso de duda sobre el Padrón ponerse en
