18.00 Judging of the decorated streets accompanied by “Dolçaina i Tabalet”, and judges named by the Fiestas Committee.
22.00 PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE FIESTAS, Plaza de la Villa from the balcony of the Town Hall by D. JACOB BOTELLA VARÓ.
Followed by, switching on of the street lighting for the Fiestas.
FRIDAY 2 AUGUST
12.00 FENT TAPES (TAPAS): * El Racó dels Canyos.
20.30 Opening of 2013 painting exhibition Aula de Cultura: Work by several painters, jointly with Col•lectiu-Anem, by Les Fondoneres, Authorities, Fiestas Committee and people in general, accompanied by “La Dolçaina i Tabalet”.
(Opening hours of the exhibition, up to 15th August: from 19:00 – 21:00 and Sundays and holidays from 12:00 – 14:00)
20.00 Theatre for children CIRCUS MISTERI by the Asoc. Teatro RYD group, sponsored by the Diputación Provincial, Campaña Difusión Música y Teatro.
24.00 Spectacular RETRETA (Walk around the village in fancy dress) starting from the corner of Calle Mayor and Ruperto Chapí and ending in the Barraca Popular thus officially opening the same.
SATURDAY 3 AUGUST
08.00 Ringing of the Bells and setting off of firework rockets.
10.00 Gigantes y Cabezudos (Big head figures) accompanied by Dolçaina i Tabalet.
12.00 FENT TAPES (TAPAS): *Mesón El Talento.
19.30 Floral Offering to Our Lady, Virgen de las Nieves.
It will start from the Municipal Library (calle Vereda) with Les Fondoneres, Authorities, Fiestas Committee and people in general, wearing traditional regional costumes and will proceed towards the Parish Church accompanied by our Municipal Band.
20.30 Solemn Mass singing by the Rondalla Municipal and attended by les Fondoneres and Authorities.
24.00 Verbena (music and dancing) in the Plaza de la Villa with the “Athenas” music group.

SUNDAY 4 AUGUST
08.00 Ringing of the Bells and setting off of firework rockets.
09.30 Pasacalles (Walk around the village) accompanied by Dolçaina i Tabalet.
10:30 Mass for all the deceased of the village
12.00 FENT TAPES (TAPAS): *Mesón El Moreno.
18.30 Walk around the decorated streets of our village with Les Fondoneres, the Fiestas Committee and the Charanga (music group), paying tribute to the senior citizens. Starting from la Plaza.
23.00 Zarzuela (Spanish operetta) by the Peña Lírica Alicantina group performing “Los Claveles” accompanied by the Sinfónica del Vinalopó Orchestra conducted by our fellow countryman, José Antonio Pérez Botella. Followed by the serenade to Our Lady, Virgen de las Nieves.

THE MAIN DAY OF OUR FIESTAS, DEDICATED TO OUR PATRON LADY, LA VIRGEN DE LAS NIEVES.

21.00 Solemn Procession of Our Patron Lady, Virgen de las Nieves. Accompanied by Les Fondoneres, Authorities, Fiestas Committee and people in general as well as our Municipal Band and the Ateneo Musical “Maestro Gilabert” from Aspe.
23:30 Show of Humour and Song, performed by Juan Ramón and Carlos Luna

TUESDAY 6 AUGUST
11.00 Walk around the village with Dolçaina i Tabalet group
20.30 Regional Dances by the Hondón de las Nieves dance group accompanied by the Rondalla Municipal and by the dance group of Abanilla.
WEDNESDAY 7 AUGUST
20.00 Evening of sport in the Polideportivo Municipal (Sports centre) – Boxing, Pilates, Volleyball, Aquagym etc. More information and enrolments at the Polideportivo Municipal.
THURSDAY 8 AUGUST
20.00 Talk on astronomy by D. Enric Pallé, in the Aula de Cultura.
23.00 Night Walk to the Paraje de La Cuesta. Organized by the Centro Excursionista of Hondón de las Nieves and the CIDAM.
FRIDAY 9 AUGUST
18.30 Inauguration of the “Mercadillo Romano (Roman Street Market)” in the Plaza San Juan and adjoining streets.
SATURDAY 10 AUGUST
09.30 Cycling Tour from the Plaza de la Villa to La Canalosa, where all participants are invited to enjoy an ‘almuerzo’ together. Two bikes will be raffled.
18.30 Mercadillo Romano (Roman Street Market) closing at 01:00 am approximately.
24:00 Correfocs (running with fire). As per usual itinerary.
SUNDAY 11 AUGUST
11.00 “Paella d’arròç i conill amb caragols” Competition (Paella of
rice with rabbit and snails).
There will be two categories for the competition:
- Youngsters up to 25 years old.
- From 26 yrs old onwards.
This competition will take place at the school with prizes for the winners. The Fiestas Committee will provide firewood, chairs, tables and drinks. Previous enrolment necessary at the Town Hall. Organized by the Asociación de Amas de Casa and sponsored by the Fiestas Committee.
21.30 Concert, Plaza de la Villa, by the Unión Musical de Hondón de las Nieves (Music Band).
